Meet Dr. Cardall

Dr. Cardall is very happy to be home again.

Dr. Wes Cardall pursued his dental training at the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, where he graduated #1 in his class and earned one of the top scores in the country on the National Dental Board Exam. He spent several years practicing cosmetic and general dentistry before completing a post-doctoral residency at the University of Louisville, with a specialty in orthodontics.

Dr. Cardall loves making people happy-and likes nothing more than watching the transformation of his patients as they gain life-changing confidence from their new smiles. He is committed to the highest standards in orthodontic care and continues to attend regular education courses and seminars to stay at the forefront of orthodontic treatment and technology. He believes everyone deserves a great smile, and his mission is to bring the best treatment available anywhere to Bakersfield.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Cardall attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. During his time at BYU, he interrupted his studies for a two-year church service mission in Geneva, Switzerland, where he developed a love of serving others and a fluency in French.

Dr. Cardall grew up in Laguna Hills, California, where he played high school basketball and volleyball-and spent his summers mountain biking, surfing, and working in his father's pool business. Several years ago, he met his wife, Lindsey, a native of central Utah, who spent her summers riding four wheelers, hunting, and working on her father's farm. Together, they decided Bakersfield would be a perfect place for them-enough "country" for a small-town farm girl, yet enough "city" for an Orange County native. In their spare time, they can be found traveling, surfing, rollerblading, and playing with their 18 month old daughter, Sadie. Dr. Cardall is also a diehard Lakers fan and loves watching or playing basketball whenever he gets the chance.

Dr. Cardall is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the California Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association, and the Kern County Dental Society. His research has been presented at national and international dental conferences and published in one of the nation's leading dental journals.

Dr. Cardall is excited to be home in California once again and join Dr. Montano and the team at Montano Orthodontics. He looks forward to meeting you!
